We’re Sarah and Kelsey, sisters and the duo behind The Romantiks. We’ve been creating together for years, always evolving, experimenting and pushing ourselves creatively. What started as a love of flowers has grown into a shared obsession with colour, texture, fashion, art and creating really beautiful things.

Our floral style is unique, it’s prismatic, it’s hyper-feminine, it’s impactful, and of course, it’s damn romantic. We love flowers with movement, unexpected colour combinations, interesting textures and designs that feel artful, effortless and a little unexpected.

For us, the best part is getting to know you — hearing what you’re drawn to, seeing the details you’ve chosen, and figuring out how flowers can bring it all together. We’ll take your ideas, add our perspective, and create something that feels distinctly you.

We care deeply about the little details, but we also believe the process should be easy and fun. You can trust us to obsess over the flowers while you focus on actually enjoying this season of your life.

The Romantiks has grown pretty organically over the years — from our family’s flower shop in the Kootenays, to weddings throughout BC, and eventually expanding into Alberta. Our business has changed a lot along the way, but our love for creating, working with our hands and making beautiful things has always been at the centre of it.

We come from a pretty creative family, so making things and working with our hands has always been part of our lives. Growing up in the Kootenays definitely shaped that, and it still influences the way we approach flowers and design today.

We’re drawn to flowers that feel alive — beautiful shapes, interesting textures, movement and blooms at their absolute best. Whenever possible, we love working with locally and Canadian-grown flowers, embracing what’s naturally in season and letting the seasonality become part of the design. We’re also thoughtful about how we source and create, choosing more environmentally floral practices wherever we can.

But we’re the easy part. With over 18 years of combined experience, we know flowers, we know weddings, and we know how to bring an idea to life. We’ll take what you’re drawn to, add our creative perspective and guide you through the whole process without overcomplicating it.

We’ve designed just about every kind of installation, worked through plenty of wild ideas and learned that there’s almost always a way to make something happen. You bring us the vision, we’ll figure out the flowers.
